2006 Syrah

Tasting Notes: Rich, fruity and smooth! This wine is crafted entirely from grapes sourced from our Hidden Valley vineyard on the Naramata Bench. The wine is full-bodied and shows classic cool-climate characteristics such as blackberry and lavender with a hint of spiciness.

Food Pairings: Perfect for braised meats or hearty stews.

Winemaking: Highly macerated before fermentation to allow full extraction of rich colour and tannins. This wine was aged in both French and American oak for 9 months before filtering and bottling.

Aging Potential: Good acidity and tannin structure will allow this wine to age 4-5 years. Very drinkable now.
