2009 Old Vines Riesling

Tasting Notes: Extra hang time and south Okanagan fruit came together in 2009 to yield a classic Riesling of great complexity and richness.

Food Pairings: The delicate aromas of passionfruit and a kiss of ginger on the palate create a wine perfect for pairing with spicy dishes as well as sipping on the patio or by the fire with hard and cheeses alike.

Awards: Silver Medal, North West Wine Summit, 2010

Quotes: 89 points This old vines Riesling presents concentrated aromas of peach and apricot, musky wild honey and exotic citrus with just a hint of herbs. It shows impressive intensity on the palate as well - sweet apricot jam and mineral flavours, citrus and wild herbs. It is just off-dry and zesty with an wieghty, oily texture and a long finish. Will pair nicely with creamy sauces or mildly spicy Asian dishes. Wine Diva reviewed - May 18th, 2010

Aging Potential: Made to enjoy now, however this wine has an ageing potential of up to 15 years. It will develop wonderful aged characters unique only to Riesling.
