2007 Late Harvest Kerner

Tasting Notes: Another new product for Hillside this year. Orange peel and candied-lemon are predominant in the nose, with a full, creamy mid-palate. The finish is decidedly sweet, yet balances with the acidity.

Food Pairings: Pair with strong cheeses on just have it on its own as dessert.

Winemaking: Picked November 27th at 26 Brix. This wine was destemmed, pressed lightly and fermented in stainless at cool temperatures. The ferment was halted at 4.5 Brix to retain the desired residual sugar.
